• YOUR AGE as of the pageant day will determine what age group you will compete in. The director has the right to request valid proof of age at any time.
• Contestants ages 0 to 6 may have a parent with them on stage
• A dressing room will be provided by the pageant officials for all contestants. Only one companion (ex. mother, hairdresser, etc.) will be allowed in at a time with each contestant. ONLY FEMALES can enter the dressing room. If you require a large space, we suggest you stay overnight at the Host Hotel, so you can have your own room to change in.
• Contestants must live in, or work in, or be a student, or own property in ANY NORTHEAST STATE including any New England state, NY, NJ, PA, MD, VA, WV, or DE.
• Miss contestants can be single, divorced, with or without children
• Mrs. contestants must be married as of pageant day. Director may request proof/ marriage certificate.
• Elite Ms & Classic Ms contestants can be single, married or divorced / with or without children.
• Points will be deducted if time limits are exceeded in Talent & Modeling competitions.
  Talent time limit: 2 minutes
  Holiday or Winter Wear Modeling limit: 75 seconds
  Modeling time limit: 60 seconds
• Poor Sportsmanship will not be allowed and will be grounds for disqualification without refund
• Past pageant winners in this pageant may compete again in same age division as long as they take a two year break from competing in this pageant (the two year break does not pertain to the Baby & Tiny Division winners (they can compete the next year).
• NO CONFETTI nor GLITTER can be thrown or dropped on the stage or dance floor during any performance
• ALL FEES are NON-REFUNDABLE!

• CLOTHING REQUIREMENTS - ONLY ONE OUTFIT is required for the pageant; a Short Dress/or Gown for stage. This can be any style or color of contestants choice!
• OPTIONAL PHOTOGENIC - This competition is open to all age divisions. No Limit on number of photos submitted. Photos can be wallet size up to 8.5 x 11, color or black & white. Photos MUST be handed in by Saturday's registration. Name & age must be on the back of photo. All photos will be returned on pageant day.
• OPTIONAL MODELING - Outfit can be sports related, a cute simple outfit, or glitzy attire. Make your own fashion statement! Two separate routines are allowed with a 1 minute time limit each. Modeling ability & personality will be scored. Accessories and handheld props allowed. Pageant supplies music for this category.
• OPTIONAL TALENT - You can perform one or two separate talent routines with a maximum time limit of 2 minutes each. Acts that may be dangerous to our audience will not be allowed. This competition will not be available for Baby Division.
• HOLIDAY/ WINTER WEAR MODELING - Outfit can represent ANY Holiday, or winter theme! You will be judged 50% on the actual outfit, and 50% on how you model the outfit. Any style outfit is allowed. 75 seconds time limit on this category and you can supply your own music to go with your outfit if you wish.

  Please PUT CONTESTANT NAME, AGE, NAME OF PAGEANT "NORTHEAST", and the Optional name in the email memo! Please email MUSIC by the Thursday before the pageant. This deadline is important! If music is emailed after the Thursday, points may deducted for that optional event. If you compete in these Optional events and will not be supplying your own music... Please send a message to the above email address stating you will need the Sound Engineer to supply a song for you.
• MISS POPULARITY AWARD - The contestant in the show with the biggest cheering section in the audience will be named Miss Popularity & recieve a beautiful Trophy, Crown & Sash.
• RECOMMENDING FRIENDS - Feel free to tell your friends about our pageant by directing them to our website. tell them to put your name on the application (Where did you hear of this pageant?). If you recommend one friend who enters - you will receive a BEAUTIFUL FRIENDSHIP Trophy, or a FREE Optional Event. For each additional friend who you recommend that enters, you will receive a $75 CASH Award Award. Friends cannot be on our mailing list to qualify for this award.
• GOLDEN SPIRIT AWARDS - We award Golden Spirit Plaques to 5th time Participants! Please let us know if this is your 5th year competing in the Miss Northeast Pageant. (Must let us know by 2 weeks before the pageant)
• NOTE: BOY DIVISION BREAKDOWNS WILL BE BETTER DETERMINED AFTER WE KNOW HOW MANY MALES ARE COMPETING. WE HAVE 6 KING TITLES TO AWARD: BABY, LITTLE, PRETEEN, JUNIOR, TEEN, AND MR! HIGH-POINT KING WILL RECEIVE A CASH AWARD & GREAT PRIZES!
